The International Max Planck Research School for Environmental, Cellular and Molecular Microbiology (IMPRS-MIC) is a graduate school offering an international PhD program and excellent research possibilities for young scientists. The school is a collaboration between the Max Planck Institute for Terrestrial Microbiology and the Philipps-Universität Marburg. Research areas covered are:

The application period ends on January 31 for candidates requiring a visa for admittance to Germany List of countries (Auswärtiges Amt); applications from candidates who do not require a visa are due March 01 of the year of enrollment. The program starts in October each year.
